My hubby took these photos of me taking photos not too long ago. So I decided to try my hand at creating a professional-looking gif. Don’t watch it for too long, unless you want your eyes to spin uncontrollably out of your skull.

Head on over to my DeviantArt page to download 10 cool smart phone wallpapers I created. They consist of nature and abstract designs that are 960 x 720 pixels.

I know that for the G1, you can either download straight from phone. You should be able to choose the wallpaper (from the “downloads” folder). You may also copy to any folder (such as “downloads”, “pictures” or create a new one called “wallpapers”) via your USB cable or Bluetooth connection. It should appear when asked to select wallpaper from photos. I’m fairly certain this should be similar for other phones.

This is just one of the many ways one can work through anger. Art is about expressing emotions. They can’t alway be happy. Though, for me, it usually is. This time, not so much.

Just a little something I cooked up using a stock photo via Comstock/Jupiter Images. This simple and refreshing image took a couple hours and was intended to aid me in relieving stress. Not sure yet if it worked.

I went surfing for interesting images at MorgueFile just to see what I could find. I found this image (seen below) and really liked her eyes. I did some basic retouching and added purple color to her eyes and lips. Or is it fuchsia?  Or magenta? Color names are slightly different for everyone so I’d go by #901192 or something of the like.

Just a quick image I retouched for no real reason. I took this from a plane above the Western USA (around Nevada). The window was covered in a fine coat of plane window grunge, mostly from the outside.

I think I may have invented a new sport.

It typically works out better when I set out to find photos in attempt to figure out what I should do with them later. Having a specific image in mind first makes it close to impossible to find the right photos. So I went to MorgeFile and found a couple of “dead” photos. This was done in Photoshop that I previously mentioned I got for business. Now I’m in the process of learning all the different features from Gimp.

I had started this oddity over a year ago and found it in my working images folder. The gold dust and twinkles were in place but it was bland. So I added the heat with motion lines as well as the lightning. Once again, I’ve created a bizarre little number but also interesting enough to post.

Whenever I’m in the mood to do some type of image but am completely drained of ideas, I may go back to said folder. Its far from empty.

Originally, I think I entitled this only “Gold Dust” because I was inspired by one of my favorite Tori Amos songs with the same name. You can see a shaky performance of “Gold Dust” below. It gets me every time. Read the lyrics here.
