I created this galaxy with The Gimp. For the “sun” in the center, I layered a few different types of flares, mostly the gradient flare. The stars and planets are brushes available for download at DeviantArt. Forgive me, I cannot recall which deviant made what star brushes. I use so many and make so many of my own; it all gets fuzzy. The polka dot pattern can be found within my polka dot brush set. There’s also some pinching (sans whirling) going on.

I constructed this one of a profile of my boyfriend, dots, lights, and several abstract science fiction elements. The title is a play on the phrase spacetime continuum.

This one was actually done earlier today in an exercise to do something different. Part commercial, part pop art. In any case, I got to use the new polka-dot patterns I packaged with the corresponding polka-dot brush set.
