Just a little something I cooked up using a stock photo via Comstock/Jupiter Images. This simple and refreshing image took a couple hours and was intended to aid me in relieving stress. Not sure yet if it worked.

I created this one in Photoshop that I recently acquired for the sake of business purposes. (Unless otherwise noted, everything I do is in the Gimp.) It slowed my system down so much that this took much longer than it should have. And I don’t even know what it is! This was all created in Photoshop with no original photos– just brushes, shapes, and all those basics.

I began with this Photoshop tutorial. While attempting to convert the steps to that of The Gimp, I also consciously decided to make mine mine, by using different types of rock and grass. In addition, I changed many of the “decoration” items on top of the island. The castle, fairies, and weeping willow seemed a better fit for this fantasy scene.
