Teabaggin

I was sure I had posted this photo months ago, but alas I never did!

A fresh cup of green tea, my fav! This photo was taken at “The Corner” in Hollywood, CA. Taken November 2008.

With all this talk of teabagging (however inappropriate), I recall this image. I named this photo to be cute and silly, fully aware of additional meanings.

I haven’t the foggiest idea what this is. But here you go:

I made this some months ago and thought it may be interesting enough to post. Whatever these 3D-esque shapes may be, they were made entirely with The Gimp. My favorite part – I’d have to say – are the tiny whitish-grey spheres with the pinkish light glow.

The original image of the duck was taken at the Los Angeles Zoo.

The rest is more of a concept graphic design. The text says nothing important: “Here is some text that no one will be able to read at all. And ever. This duck is nice, though. Don’t ya think? I took this photo at the Los Angeles Zoo and then decided to do whatever this is with it. Here the duck sits in the middle of some murky greenish water, just floating. I wish I were floating.”

Solar Systematic

I created this galaxy with The Gimp. For the “sun” in the center, I layered a few different types of flares, mostly the gradient flare. The stars and planets are brushes available for download at DeviantArt. Forgive me, I cannot recall which deviant made what star brushes. I use so many and make so many of my own; it all gets fuzzy. The polka dot pattern can be found within my polka dot brush set. There’s also some pinching (sans whirling) going on.
